The official mission, which will include the participation of the country’s chambers, associations and companies, will also celebrate Uruguay’s National Day within the framework of the universal exposition.
The delegation, formed by more than 60 companies linked to the construction, services, food, precious stones and wool sectors, will accompany the official mission to Expo Dubai, headed by Uruguayan President Luis Lacalle Pou. The agenda of activities includes the celebration of Uruguay’s National Day, which will take place on Monday, February 21, as well as protocol acts and artistic shows with the participation of authorities.
In fact, the mission will coincide with the Food, Agriculture and Livestock thematic week of Expo Dubai. As part of its international economic insertion plan, companies in the area and linked to the production of rice, meat, water, caviar, dairy products, among others, will present their exportable offer and will participate in talks, activities and a business forum.
Previously, from February 13 to 17, food exporting companies that are part of the delegation will be present at the Gulfood fair, also held in Dubai, where Uruguay will have a stand.
In addition to participating in the official agenda of activities, the delegation will take the opportunity to strengthen commercial ties with local and international counterparts, for which they will have access to the Business Area of the Uruguay Pavilion.
The country has identified the Middle East as a high-potential priority market with interesting trade and investment opportunities.
